Installing Air Seal Tyre Sealant on my Machines
You can simply set your prism height above your head.
I’ve just bought a JCB 19c and I’m kind of confused. The quick hitch has a red rotating sprung clamp which seems to stop the lower pin from reaching its final resting place. The top one is fine and seats just fine but the one that clicks thru the red sprung thingy just whacks it. Am I supposed to put the pin thru the red thingy. My old 8014 seemed to function the same way, but just works. Is this what you’re referring to?
If you are not in a confined spot, i think Takeuchi is first in that class, they maybe a little bit thirsty but for reliability and operator comfort, and power/speed they are great. Their short radius machines are a litte bit strange though. TAB Boom is also very nice, it became very common over here.
we bought a 2.5 ton winget in 1990 and only sold it on last year great runner
Hi Ollie nice one thanks again
nice jcb video I love it I hope there will be others
I would say that this is mostly good proof that one needs to have multiple machines, even if you are mostly a one man show.
Why dont they change the back so the cab also turns, not 360 but 230-260? surely that would be the best of bot worlds
my 8026 cab flaked off just the same seems no under coat applied?
This is perfect. Labor is the biggest cost in construction, by far. Anything you can do to reduce, and better utilize labor hours, increases profitability. Backhoes are perfect for this, even when their activating to use.
good vlog are you filming the jcb dig day
This is the sort of job a 3cx excells at, one were you can run rings around a tracked machine.
Olly. Careful with all this talk of big machines. U could loose out with ur 8026 Nice job buddy.
Can you still use a breaker when idig is installed on the machine ? Im concerned about yhe vibrations messing up the system. Thanks
Did you ever manage to sell your 4 in 1 bucket for the Avant?
Yes, that sold pretty easily not long after the machine
You did really well to be able to film so much at their facilities. It's great when a manufacturer is prepared to be reasonably open to show how their products are made. It really helps the end user to feel confident about a product when you can actually see how its made 👍
Great vid ollie ... did you say new s40 stuff !
Wish that everyday there was a new JCB 3CX video for me to watch :D
I’m doing my best!
Thank you Ollie for your kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you and learn how you operate our products and what needs you have. Best of luck in the future and hope to see you again. (Ola from the Marketing Department)
really rate weaver plant, not many places you can get all the attachments on good quality machines, do a great range of avants and forklifts as well
Hi Ollie Nice one Thanks again
What does it cost ?
First ☝️
So I have 40 years experience in the industry...City and Guilds craft certificate for Carpentry and Joinery...from 1983... Project managed multi million pound projects...have SMSTS and passed managers test but someone with an NVQ is better qualified.. what complete and utter b#*s#*t... this will ultimately push up costs as construction companies fail to meet the labour demands
I couldn't agree more. Why the original idea to slowly let IA die out as we all retired was scrapped for this mandatory NVQ idea I can only presume is to do with money. Because it has zero bearing on how safe we are before or after we get "qualified".
Love your hands-on presentation style.
I'd love to know who owns these organisations...better still i would like to know who the underwriters are...its a racket being charged to work. The money most probably goes to some snotty nosed rich kid in london whos just left eton or Cambridge (jobs for the boys made up). Corgie and CITB was another racket... who gets the money? and where does the money go? Im a scaffolder time served 10 times over and now i used to be a scaftolder if i don't cough up £600.
I couldn't agree more. I made this video to inform lads that in a few months time they might not be able to work on site anymore but its raised more than a few eyebrows as to why the scheme has gone down this route. Clearly it has nothing to do with safety - your safe on site this year but not after December.... need to pay money to get an NVQ to be safe now..... yeah right! But until the big contractors start seeing what a racket the card system has become, we are forced to play their silly game to their rules.
Good stuff, first time buyer. I feel armed now. :) Thanx!
I've got a 56 Kubota, it's a top machine, not got a tilt rotator though.
Hi Olli I'd get straight off that kubota and get on that takeuchi, honestly mate I've driven diggers since I was 7 I'm 54 now we've had kubota and there horrible cramped things for me small machines have to be takeuchi you simply can't beat them ,I run a case 130 e with an engcon and trimble gps ,machine is awful engcon is awsome so is gps,I've run 3cx for many years good machine but changed it for a cat 432f years ago and the cat was fantastic, never been on a nice kubota ,volvo and takeuchi all the way mate
Have you tried one of these new Kubotas? They have come on a long way especially in the cab. They aren't my favourite machine, and I always thought the 8 tonner was way off the mark, but this KX60 drove well to me. I did have a go on Owens Takeuchi TB290, a short little video is coming soon of me on that.
I run that same Engcon with my 040 and i have the gripper. I wouldn't be without it. I would think that the 60 would handle it with the gripper no problem.
It probably would be fine. I love the grippers, they look so useful
Get a short stick and put the gripper on, simple
That's certainly one way of doing it, you're right
Now we are talking, i operate these regular but never used a tilt rotator on one , tbh a dream setup. I for one can't knock the kubota aside from limited cab storage.
How can I get to apply to have the cscs card
Wish I had video of my old man on the 3CX. The things he could do with the front bucket was eyeopening. I am currently on a 3CX Contractor Pro brand new at the moment, lovely bit of kit. Has to be servos tho
Jcb 🤮 Cat or Deere or nothing In Canada it goes Cat and Deere are tied Then it’s Italians or Portuguese as manual labour digging And if you don’t got any of them then you don’t have a business
Thanks for highlighting these machines, as a landscaper they look really usefully and a nice alternative backed by a quality company. They should exhibit these at the FutureScape show in London.
Hi Ollie Nice one they look handy machines Thanks again
Great little machines. Very powerful. I run two giant loaders. same machines.
You're crazy, You're driving on the left side of the road. Aren't you afraid
Only if someone is driving on the right towards me!
I totally agree with you on the daewoo develon/doosan are much better ,the worst machine ive driven was a bobcat it was heavy in the controls and a flimsy interior the best machine ive driven was my mates 1990 komatsu pc130 spacious cab and built like a tank, one jcb i would recommend trying if you can get your hands on one is a classic jcb 814 powerslide
I just done a same job for my mate and used my 3cx sitemaster and im not a fan of tilt rotator i found they can be a tad fast on the tilt as had one on the 3cx i got also it was eating up the hydraulic oil quite a bit so removed it also with the backhoe loader its a does everything a excavator does and more it makes life alot easier
Thanks for making this video. Pretty cool machine.
Awesome tools Want a belle one.
I've used the Belle one, its not a bad tool, but I ended up going for the Bobcat branded, Ammann one in the end. And its been a useful thing to have around.
They suck
lol massive cross joints In them slabs 😂
Yep, I didnt lay the patio....
Vegan leather 😂😂😂😂
I had no idea also my card finishes in July.and last few months studying the citb book, i just came across your website by chance today because I was studying. Now i have a chance thanks to you to change directions .
I got a Backhoe a couple years ago and I had the same problems of using the front loader had the steepest learning curve. You tube was my best friend, namely Stanly dirt monkey does a how to use a skid steer. The biggest thing I learned was what you are having a problem with, how to push light material around nicely, either topsoil or gravel. The key is to back drag with the bucket flat on the ground. This will take off high spots and fill in low spots (if there is extra material you are dragging) beautifully. If you tip the bucket up (front edge up) while going backwards, it will pick up material without gouging like when you go forwards. If you tip down, you will leave behind a little (don't need to tip down hardly at all or you will lose all your material rather quickly). You are essentially using the back edge of the bucket as the working edge and it will blow your mind as to how well this technique works. Trying to grade with the front edge of the bucket is almost useless. The other tip I learned was if you are adding a fairly thick layer of material, dump piles of what you think you will need as you back out of the work area, once you are ready to grade it all out, fill your bucket with material so when you run into the material going forwards you are not picking anything up but pushing the pile and you will automatically be grading as you move forwards through all your piles. although I have not had the chance to use this tecknich very often since this was used for topsoild and a backhoe isn't really good at that without compacting. but it would work for a big parking lot. Hopefully this helps you. I always love watching your videos.
Could you share any more backhoe tips? I could really use some
Turn on smooth ride work great for grading that
